In Part One, we saw Yvette & Gil preparing for their unique & intimate July wedding in La Habra at the Westridge Club. If you missed any of their portraits or candid reactions on the aisle, then don’t forget to check out Part One – Westridge Club Ceremony Blog.
Now, without further adieu, we bring you Part Two of Yvette & Gil’s Westridge Reception Blog. These two are surrounded by charismatic friends, loving family, and it really shines through when you see the lighthearted bridal party portraits we captured. Using the picturesque background Westridge offered, we were able to show-off with some sweeping bride & groom portraits. These two gaze at each other as though we’re not even there. Meanwhile the setting sun perfectly washes out their gorgeous, back-lit, & sun-kissed portraits – a perfect example why it’s called the golden hour.
After the portraits, we headed to the reception. Yvette and Gil had a modern, chic room in fuchsia — a color that perfectly matched the bubbly personality of the group. Dynamic entrances by the bridal party gave way to sentimental first dances and hearty toasts with glasses held high. We absolutely adored the moment where Yvette stood and helped her matron of honor read her speech through swelling tears of joy. These are the emotive memories that hopefully everyone will always remember.
We’re sure know that Yvette and Gil don’t need any more well wishes from us, given their lively and caring friends, but it never hurts. Best of luck you two; we wish you a happy and bright future together!
