I feel like we have some bragging rights at the moment…not about the work, even though I LOVE it…but that’s not right. What I’m talking about how lucky we have been to have our last two weddings at such gorgeous venues. If you missed our last wedding, you can see it here Beautiful Private Estate Wedding in Salem Oregon – Part One and here Beautiful Private Estate Wedding in Salem Oregon – Part Two.
Our featured wedding at Jalama Cañon Ranch & Vineyard was absolutely no exception. The Zahn’s personalities completely resonate with this natural, rustic environment, and it makes total sense why they chose to have their wedding here. The property is located about an hour North of Santa Barbara and is nestled between rolling hills of tall grass, with scattered oak groves, and comes complete with it’s own vineyard. There are no traditional facilities, just a few cabin structures, generators, a camping area, and an outhouse. Although, when this place all comes together, and the party is rocking, you would never know the difference!
The main cabin is located at the top of the hill inside the reception area, and that is where the girls can hide out and get ready for the big day. The guys, of course, get the less glamorous abode just down the way to drink beers and shake off the nerves ahead of time. Nevertheless, everyone’s spirits were high, and the weather was cooperative…this day couldn’t have been better for the lucky Zahn couple!
Part one of the Zahn Wedding covers up through the oak grove ceremony, including the planting of their very own baby oak tree! We start the day with the girls getting ready, then head on over to the guys and the ceremony. Make sure you like our Facebook page to get the announcement for Part Two of the Zahn Wedding Blog, where you will be able to see the absolutely stunning bride & groom portraits, fun wedding party content, and gobs of melt-your-heart first dance moments!! You will NOT want to miss this!
