If you missed Part One of Stefany and Steve’s beautiful Catholic wedding, be sure to go back and check it out. The church was gorgeous and their wedding was rich in tradition. In Part Two, we’re excited to share their bride & groom portraits, plus the reception content from the Ebell Club in Long Beach.
The historic Nativity Catholic Church in Torrance, built in 1924, provides a majestic backdrop to capture our couple, to whom their faith is an important part of their lives. Stefany is easy to photograph in her classic gown and flowing veil. She has an effortless smile and carries herself with grace. She and Steven are so natural with each other as they wander the grounds. We also snapped a few photos of Stefany’s mother helping lace the corset of her dress in the Brides Room.
The bridal party was in high spirits and in the mood to take some whimsical shots employing the balcony of the church as well as the steps. The bridesmaids, all clad in pink, and the groomsmen cheer them on as Steve steals a kiss.
The reception was held a the Ebell Club in Long Beach. This colorful, Spanish-style venue featured an open floor plan and balcony with plenty of space for the entrances and dancing. They had hired a traditional Mariachi band which provided a perfect atmosphere for the celebration. As I said before, the speech that Stafany’s father delivered was so touching & heartfelt – you’ll have to watch their feature film to see what I mean!
As Stefany and Steve dance for the first night as a married couple, their friends gather round to wish them well. Something tells us, given the energy in the room, that this bride and groom will be doing a lot more dancing in the future. Congratulations, Stefany and Steve!
