Travel

A night in Brugge, but not exactly like the movie. Brugge is a quaint, quintessential European city. The canals that run through the city are beautiful, except when mobs of tourists are motoring through them on little mobby tourist boats. Despite the beautiful surroundings, I found the people quite rude. I’m not sure if it was only towards the French, but regardless it was a little unsettling. The food and beer definitely made up for the lack in personality. De Halve Maan brewery, the only brewery in Brugge, served up some mean triples and quads, and the rib-sticking food was tasty and anything but light.
