One thing we really enjoy is taking engagement photos of couples in beautiful surroundings throughout the Southland and since there are so many to chose from, it’s always a photographer’s dream. We especially enjoyed accompanying Billy and Shannon to Santiago Parks Regional Park in Orange County for these fun shots.
Lying peacefully in east Orange alongside the Santiago Creek, the 1,269-acre Santiago Oaks Regional park is a nature lover’s paradise. This secluded refuge offers hikers, bikers and equestrians the natural charm of mountain vistas, an orange grove, a meandering creek and a mature forest of many different species of trees. Wildlife abounds and a series of interconnecting trails leads through shady groves and to a lookout that features an awe-inspiring view of Orange and the surrounding foothills.
Billy and Shannon were at ease when we took these photos of them having a good time whether it was showing off some “Mr. and Mrs.” beverage coozies, sharing an embrace, walking the trails hand-in-hand, or simply taking in a glorious sunset.
This was our first time at the location and we found the property to be incredible. Besides the obvious, there are also vast amounts of unique little nooks and crannies, great views, and a very rustic feel that make Santiago Oaks Regional Park one of the best places around for taking engagement photos.
Santiago Oaks Regional Park definitely provides the visitor with a sense of removal from the urbanized environment. The native plant life coupled with the specimen forest provides an atmosphere of relaxation and serenity. The park trails also provide access to the Anaheim Hills Trail System and offer spectacular views of northern Orange County.
Some of the images that we really like that bring it all together and show just how much these two mean to one another include Shannon kissing Billy on the forehead, and of them holding hands under the orange sunset.
Santiago Oaks Regional Park proved to be a great spot for Billy and Shannon’s engagement photos since they are such a playful couple who love to have fun!
We’re glad we came along for the ride and that we were able to explore the grounds with this loving couple and we wish them a bright future together!
